A Reason for Spelling removes the stumbling block of “useless” work with their richly integrated spelling workbook. Filled with contemporary Bible verses, writing activities and scripture verses, this course also integrates spelling with phonics, writing, and other language arts skills.
Level C contains 32 weekly lessons with five days of spelling lessons, each with a set of 15 words. Level C words include: careful, copy, quite, rake, track, seventh, and more. Arranged in a test-study-test sequence, students will learn through immediate correction of their work.
The student worktext is filled with a variety of fun games that will help students master each week’s spelling list. The week begins with a read-aloud story (found in the A Reason for Spelling Level C Teacher’s Guide, 2nd Edition (sold-separately) to introduce the topic and Scripture textfor the week. Students then complete a preview exercises that assesses student familiarity with the ten weekly spelling words; students then complete a number of learning activities and word games and conclude the week with a final test that allows the student to demonstrate progress.
Non-reproducible consumable workbook. Level C is designed for Grade 3. This workbook cannot be used without the sold-separately teacher’s guide.
